How do I enable the Copy-Paste Karo keyboard?
iOS Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard… → choose Copy-Paste (the keyboard appears under this name in the list). Then in any app, tap and hold the globe icon on the iOS keyboard and switch to Copy-Paste.
For your saved snippets to show up, also tap Copy-Paste in the keyboards list and turn on Allow Full Access. Copy-Paste Karo uses it for one thing only — reading the snippets you saved from its on-device container. The keyboard has no network access and never records what you type.
Why do I see "Copy-Paste Karo pasted from another app"?
That's iOS's standard transparency banner. It appears whenever any app reads the clipboard. Copy-Paste Karo reads the clipboard only to save the snippet locally on your device — nothing is transmitted anywhere. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
My snippets aren't appearing in the keyboard.
Open the Copy-Paste Karo app once after adding the snippet — the sync to the keyboard happens when the main app is in the foreground. Then switch to the Copy-Paste Karo keyboard in any text field; the latest 80 snippets (pinned first) will appear. If the keyboard still looks empty, check that Allow Full Access is turned on for it in iOS Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Copy-Paste — that's what lets the keyboard read your saved snippets. You can also switch away and back to it once to refresh.
Is there a backup?
Not in v1.0. By design, Copy-Paste Karo is on-device only. Standard device backups on iPhone include the app's data the same way they include any other app's local storage, so a restore-from-backup on a new iPhone will bring your snippets across.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Data → Clear all history, or delete the app — iOS will remove all of its data along with it.
Auto-capture isn't saving what I copied.
Auto-capture runs when the app opens — not in the background (iOS doesn't allow apps to silently watch the clipboard). Open Copy-Paste Karo after copying, and your latest clipboard content will be saved. If it's already been saved before, it won't be saved again as a duplicate.
The keyboard doesn't match my chosen theme.
Open the main app once after switching themes — the keyboard picks up theme colours from the App Group container, which is updated when the main app is in the foreground.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet — Copy-Paste Karo is iPhone-only for now. An Android version is on the roadmap.
